DVD EASTER EGGS

What is a dvd easter egg? It's a hidden feature on your dvds. You can't just select or press play to watch these. You have to do a number of tricks with the remote or on your computer to find them! They call these Easter Eggs for a good reason.

I learned about this a long time ago, but for Fruits Basket you can find the Easter Eggs on two of the dvds, the first volume and the third.

I'm going to tell you two ways to find them, because everyone has different dvd players, but even if you have tried all the ways and still can't get it, place it in your computer *if you have a dvd player on the computer that is* and do it that way. That was the only way I got the third dvd for me to work. Anyway, here is how you do it.

The first way I heard to do it is suppose to work on both the 1st and 3rd dvds. It was announced in Newtype Magazine.

You need to go to the 'extras' on your dvd and then punch in 10 (which is 1 and 0) and your remote and then hit the select button.

The other ways are different for the 2 dvds. I found this off a website a long time ago and now I don't remember where it was, but if I do, I will be sure to place credit.

Volume 1

Enter the 'Extras' menu. Highlight the 'Character Profile' option (to highlight on the computer just put your mouse over the option but don't click, for dvd players, act like you are going to select it with your up and down keys), then press Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Enter.

Volume 3

Enter the 'Extra' menu. Highlight the 'Character Profile' option, then press Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Enter.
