Personality? Kyou is a hot tempered person. He can lose this temper easily, but he works on getting better at controlling it. He may seem rude, but he is actually shy, especially when Tohru talks to him, he blushes. He is really sweet person deep down, he just doesn't want to admit it.

His Story?Kyou's story is pretty sad, but he is an important part of this series. When he was young, he was told that he was loved by his mother over and over. But his mother never really did truly love him, not his "true" self. His mother died, and everyone, including his father, blamed him for her death. Then Kazuma, now his "master", took him in. For a long time, ever since he was little, he has always been a loner. In the zodiac curse, he's the cat which didn't belong in the Zodiac, so he was never invited to banquets. Never included in the family and therefor treated like an outcast everywhere he went. He was also a loner at school because he always has a bad temper. Akito then made a bet with him, telling him that if he were able to beat Yukki, then he can become one of the zodiac. After training in the mountains, he came to Shigure's house to fight Yukki, he made a great entrance, but unfortunately, instead of getting to fight Yukki, Tohru fell on him and turned him into a cat. He was the first person Tohru actually hugged.
